The following photographs were produced using a microscope linked to a computer and they are a guide to the identification of prey remains in otter spraint. This has given us an indication of the prey otters are eating at different times of the year in South Cumbria. The percentage occurrence of prey/species will be shown in the form of tables and graphs below. I have split it up into the following sections |
